Worktoday App offers thousands of extrajobs
A Spanish startup has created the Worktoday app, a new free mobile application aimed on the one hand at companies that need to solve staffing crises and unforeseen events in their business, and on the other hand at professionals, unemployed, part-time workers or students with experience in the service sector who want to work, decide when, where and with whom to work and thus earn extra income. They have more than 1,500 users, providers and job seekers who benefit from this new application.

The way it works is very simple, the company publishes what Worktoday calls an "Extrajob" (offer of hours). In 5 clicks, the offer is launched to thousands of professionals. The application starts working and sends the Extrajob notification only to candidates who meet the requested requirements and proximity (geolocation) for immediate incorporation. Of the candidates who accept the offer, the employer will be able to see how long it takes them to get to the requested job, their work experience and the evaluations of other employers.
"Thanks to Worktoday, professionals who have had their work time reduced, the unemployed, students, etc. they can get additional income to supplement their economy," explains Marta Romero, co-founder of the startup. It is important to emphasize that Worktoday is an application in which evaluations are bidirectional: "We reward professional excellence and we want the merits of both parties, candidates and companies, to be recognized," says Alvaro Curiel, CEO and co-founder of Worktoday.
